1.) I'm using the latest Fedora for years with the most uptodate and
modern and shiny new software packages and therefore I know upstart of
course. It is one of the packages of which I always ask myself what the
hell the authors did smoke...
2.) Upstart is only used in *some* *Linux* distros. There are many Linux
distros with SysV-style init. And there are also many other *nix systems
with SysV- or rc-style booting.
3.) I talked about a concept and a *multiplatform* approach.
