Thats true. Thruk, respectively the Monitoring::Livestatus Perl module,
shuts down the socket after sending a command because
keepalive did not work for commands with the original livestatus
implementation.
I have to take a look if it works with newer versions of livestatus.
This would make sending large amounts of commands much faster.
But your patch is a good idea anyway.
