Hello, please find attached my personnal work to create an RPM package of Shinken, based on version 0.5.5. This is my first work as RPM packager, so be indulgent ;)
I have used the SPEC file from David Hannequin as start base, and modified it to respect as possible the RHEL 5 (with EPEL for Python 2.6) and RHEL 6 standard base and existing packages. I have also created a SPEC file to package Python Pyro library. I have created two patch files to modify Shinken default files: - shinken-conf.patch: modify the default daemons configuration files to respect the new directories used by Shinken - shinken-init.patch: modify the default parameters and the shinken init script to use RHEL directories and LSB start and stop commands. I have decided to leave the actual Debian/Ubuntu commands untouched for the moment and just added section for Redhat commands. Feel free to give me some remarks and critics, and don't hesitate to add these files in Shinken if you like them ! ;) Regards, Nicolas PRADELLES This message may contain confidential or privileged information and is intended only for the personal and confidential use of the designated recipient(s) named above.
