Good evening. Thanks for the tests. I will modify the .exe to include the WebUI views. I will also work on the remove part. I will try to add a popup to confirm the uninstall and then stop the service. I saw that some files are not deleted. I will work on it.
I will do my best to release a new version soon (i expect tomorrow...) Good evening, I've tried the setup.exe on a XP, here are some few problems I've found and fix suggestions :) Install : Some files are missing : $INSTALLPATH$/shinken/webui/plugins/ in each directory the view directory is missing. For example shinken/webui/plugins/view is not created. This results in WebUI fail :). (Template missing) Sugg : Just add them ^^ Remove : The exe "remove" Shinken even if Shinken is running. Therefore it doesn't stop and remove services / conf files. Sugg : Check service state and cancel uninstall if they are running can be great. To remove a service, you may have to remove some register key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Shinken* This is for my XP, dunno if it the same ones with Windows Servers :) Except this, everything was fine. The installer is very easy to use, which is the most important Kind Regards, Sébastien
