Hi Les, > This is cool, and I think something that could prove useful for end-users - > thanks very much for sharing. I've CC'd the dev list as well so they can > see.
I'm glad you find it useful. > One of the most important things for any Incubator project is to have > contributions from the community and new committers, so we're very much open > to (and in need of!) things like this. Also, if you've mucked around in the > code base at all and have questions/contributions, please join the developer > list if you haven't already and share your thoughts. Folks like you make > the project better :) I did get my feet wet in the old JSecurity code. If you remember, I even took a shot at the "assume another subject's identity" thing (http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SHIRO-25). IIRC this is what I originally drew the mindmap for :-) It's a shame that I am still having issues with it. Looks like my attachments to the issue did not solve all parts of it. But that's a different story. > In order to accept this, all contributors and committers need to have signed > and submitted an Apache Contributor License Agreement (CLA) [1]. If you > don't mind doing this, we'd appreciate it. I printed and signed the CLA. I scan and email that to the ASF and that's it? > P.S. Thanks for your help on the user mailing list answering questions! My pleasure. It's the least I can do. Cheers, DJ
