Just a quick note: Grails in Action covers using JSecurity (now Apache Shiro of course) in its Security chapter.
Now a new book, "Getting Started with Apache Click" also features a chapter on using Shiro to secure a Click application: http://click-framework.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-book-getting-started-with-apache.html We'll do everything we can to make a Shiro 1.0 final release hopefully sometime this month to continue supporting Click, Grails and other communities.
