Is there any reason to stop supporting 1.5 apart from Oracle not
supporting it anymore? If not, I'd leave it as 1.5.

compile on 1.5 but we have a new aspectj module coming up that might
require 1.6. The simplest option for Shiro is to compile everything in
1.6 and certainly there are other options but before we do anything
more complicated, I wanted to check if sticking with 1.5 is worth it.
