Key interaction worked great along with everything else -- I usually use
the 'sbot' command, but I did notice the following error pops up every time
when running scripts from the IDE (however, the "sbot" command still works
perfectly) regardless of whether I am making use of any key interaction
function:
this looks like some of the new callback signals for keyboard input are
interfering with the IDE, which is a bit clunky (but has so far fit our
purposes). It's great to know that you're using sbot -- indeed it's the
best way to use Shoebot.
Dave has insisted that the IDE is probably not the best thing to be
spending time on, and i think this vindicates his opinion :) The way to
go would be a Gedit plugin for replacing the IDE, which is something i
have on my TODO list for far too long. Would you find that useful for
your purposes?
and since i'm at it, is anyone on the list up for a coding session on
IRC for tackling this? It looks like it wouldn't take a lot of effort,
especially if we use the Supercollider plugin as reference --
