Hello all,

I have been accepted to work with you as a GSoC student over the summer.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity, I'm very excited :")

My name is Ahmed Essam, I'm from Egypt, and I study computer engineering at
Cairo University. I'm interested in Machine Learning, and Software
Engineering, and I'm eager to learn more and apply my knowledge through
this project.

My project's title is Detox++, and it's concerned with refactoring and
redesigning some of the internals of shogun. The subjects my proposal
touched upon are:
1. Making shogun's 'Features' immutable, which will help with any multi
threaded processing on them.
2. Parallelizing cross validation, which would take advantage of the
immutable features.
3. Turning the 'Distance' and 'Kernel' APIs into stateless.
4. Cleaning up String Features.
5. Dividing SGObject into multiple smaller classes.

I'm looking forward to a fruitful summer working with you :")
