Two other suggestions. One Ive tried and the other I haven't.

1.  Use bubble wrap. Break it into small pieces and shove it down into the cavity using a probe of some sort. I use a dentist probe that I found at a junk sale. In fact I have a few of them that I use for different purposes. That's another story. Its labour intensive but does work.
2. The other trick I haven't tried but I know others that have used it successfully. Use cotton wool. I'ts nice and light and does the job.

I agree with others who avoid the use of foam. It's tricky and messy to use and depending on the type of foam can add significant weight to the head .

I am planning on re-shafting my 9° KZG driver. I like this club, but hate the sound.
I recall some time ago that there was a thread about foaming metal woods to cut
down the annoying sound, but don't remember the details. What should I use to
fill the head? While the shaft is out, can I fill the head through the hosel? How will
the added weight affect the performance of the finished club? Sorry to bring up past
history, but my memory isn't what it used to be (my wife says "What memory?").TIA
