Jeff,
Do you have access to the 4 & 6 Irons?
If so Measure the groundline to first step on those two and split the difference.
If you end up needing to extend the shaft a bit that would not be then end of the world.

Good luck

Subject: ShopTalk: Memphis 10 / Dynalite riddle

I can't figure this one out, but I am certai someone out there in ShopTalk land can.

I'm reshafting a broken Callaway S2H2 5 iron. 38" length with a Memphis 10 shaft.

The Golfsmith Shaft Replacement guide says use the Dynalite "A" flex for the Memphis 10

The Dynalite A/L is 40" long, recommended tip trim is 3" for a 5 iron. That leaves me with a club shorter than 38"

Do I:
!. Put a shaft lengthener in the but?

2. Fudge on the tip trip?

3. Use a shaft other than Dynalite A/L
3a  Use a Dynalite Gold R300 and not tip trim as much
3b. Use a TX90 "A" which is almost a duplicate DSFI to the Dynalite "A"

4. None of the above but ________________________________ (y'all fill in the blank)

I await your wisdom.

Jeff
