Tom,

Have you used the Snake Eyes Quickstrike clubs? If so, how would you compare them with the TM's?

Thnx,

Hallelujah!!!

After nearly 8 months of misery on the course - well not really 8 months because I have been playing some since the hand surgery - I played a decent round today. 38/37. I used the reshafted TM Rescue 21° several times. It will find a permanent place in my arsenal. I like it so much that I decided to reshaft my 18° TM R as well. I chose a Phoenixx P1230 (as I recall, I'll verify later.) As everyone knows, the TM hosel is .390". The Phoenixx tip is .335". I used a .400" to .335" plastic reducer for the job. The o.d. of the reducer was too large for the hosel so I sanded it down on my belt sander and epoxied it into the hosel. Forcing the reducer into the hosel caused the i.d. of the device to shrink a little, so I bored it out with a .335" reamer. I decided not to use a ferrule since the reducer top looks exactly like a Callaway ring ferrule.

Finished length is 40", freq ungripped is 256 cpm, SW is D-2. I used a Winn mid-size grip.

I'll try it out next week and report.
