Folks - your thoughts please:

I have an exceptionally gifted athlete who has markedly improved over
the last 12 months. He is 22, a single digit handicap that can get much
lower if we tighten up his short game. He's working with a pro on his
swingshape but it is pretty sweet as it is.

Facts: driver swingspeed: 135 mph (I measured it myself, using two
independent devices), tempo 1.0 secs (very consistent), extremely high
driver trajectory (using his three year old KZG 10* loft/Grafalloy
Prolite 35 S shaft), and very high trajectory on his Tommy Armour 845
irons (w/TT Dynamic Gold S200 shafts).

My conclusions so far: obviously distance is not a problem, but we've
got to get more consistent pattern and would like to reduce the
trajectory. He'd also like the "hottest" driver head possible -
consistent with durability given his swingspeed. I'm a bit wary of some
of the new driver heads. Iron shafts are pretty well thought out -
although we've got to get his iron set better configured (he has 9 clubs
to take him from 170 yds (7I) to 300 yds (driver) and 4 clubs to cover
him from 170 yds down).

Any thoughts on durable, low-loft, driver heads?
