Brad,

Light weight in a driver is admirable, but unfortunately the shaft is a big
butt. That means that most of the weight is toward the tip and the butt is
very light. When I swing this kind of shaft, my hands fly through the shot
and the head lags behind....creating a continual slice. I tried four
different big butts and couldn't hit any of them worth a lick. So... it
depends on your swing and your ability to control your hand speed with this
kind of shaft. Not many players can, so big butts have almost disappeared
from the scene.
