Tflan - Its been awhile since I've posted but thought I'd chime in
here. I've used 4 of the two ball putter heads from golfcomplus that
Steve mentioned. They are a nice copy of the original with a few
major and a few minor differences. I really didn't notice the minor
differences until I picked up a real Odyssey 2 ball used a few weeks ago
and now have both.
Major:
-All 4 of my golfcomplus heads weighed in around 390 grams.
This was actually better for me than the Odyssey because I like to
build my putters short and heavy which usually requires adding lead but
not here. It made a great feeling 32" putter using a 108
gram oversize grip. With my Odyssey I've pretty much filled the
little cavities on the bottom with lead tape to get the weight I
want.
-The golfcomplus head has no insert - just a painted face area.
Again, not a big deal to me because I'm not a big fan of inserts.
-The "balls" on the top of the golfcomplus head have dimples and
are painted - like a real golf ball whereas the "balls" on the
Odyssey are smooth and made of the same material as the face.
-The golfcomplus head does not face balance. At least
not using the triple bend shaft that I've been buying from them with
the heads. The Odyssey face balances perfectly.
Minor:
-The golfcomplus model is VERY slightly smaller than the
Odyssey. I had no idea until I went to buy a headcover for the clone
- and then noticed it when they were side by side. I think you need
a headcover for the golfcomplus head because of the painted face and
"balls". I got a leatherette Club Glove mallet cover that fits it
perfectly.
-There are no cavities on the bottom of the golfcomplus head - it is
just smooth and says Quest 2-ball.
All in all, the golfcomplus head actually is pretty nice. The
finish quality is average but not bad. They hold an advantage
if you like shorter putters or wanted to make a long or belly putter
because of the weight. I am still switching back and forth with
the Odyssey depending whether I want to go heavy or light. They both
are the easiest putters to get on line you'll ever find although I've
always liked large mallet putters so the two ball design was a natural for
me.
I suppose the Cally KGB may be after golfcomplus eventually
because these seem to be pretty close to the real thing although I have no
idea what actually constitutes an infringement of their design patents -
they have definately borrowed the main concepts of the original.
BTW, I've never bought any other products from golfcomplus until this
head but they have been easy to work with.

I've heard good reports from this model-
As I recall they have a double bend shaft
for it but it is not face balanced.
