ShopTalk: Sole Grind

Are there any documented instructions on how to proceed with sole and leading edge grinding, what works, what doesn't, equipment, process used, etc?  I have many of the clubmaker books but never seen this topic covered. It's barely noticeable, but makes a huge difference on short Bermuda grass fairways.
