ShopTalk: tee extender

Can anyone tell me where to get a "tee extender" or how
to better describe it so I might find one locally.
After reading your description, I went into the shop and made one. That's about as local as I could get on a slow day!
O.K. cheapskates here's how:
1. Get a piece of 5/16" O.D. vinyl tubing  2" long.
2. Sand down the "head" of wood tee till it fits snugly into the tube (there should be a "shoulder" to prevent it from going in all the way).
3. Into opposite end push in a regular wood tee.
4. Knock ball off this "high" tee using a golf club, hitting the ball as far as you can.
