Have to agree with Cub on this one.  I went out of town on a business trip and didn't take my clubs, and ended up having time to play a round, so I rented some clubs at the course.  They let me use a demo C4 driver and Steelheadf airway woods, as the woods in the rental set were pretty crappy.  To sum up the C4 driver: Lousy (i.e. non-existent) feel, horrible sound at impact, too light, fade prone, and shorter than my regular driver.  Not a ringing endorsement, I know!

Dale,

A friend of mine received one as a Christmas gift and hated it. He shopped it out with one of my golf
partners on Sunday and we all hit it.  I hit (no bull) a 275 yd drive with my Raven Hawk Beta Maraging
and then hit the C4 a little over 270 in the exact same line. Figure the odds on me getting back-to-back
good swings with the long stick!  Anyway, I thought the C4 sucked. It felt lousy, sounded like kaka, obviously
produced good results, but still couldn't beat my Raven with a Raven Hawk shaft.  At the end of the round
the club was sent back to the owner.
