Bernie,
Good point. You have just "educated" your customers to
recognize a quality product!

When I go out to the range a couple of other "equipment nuts"
will always look at the latest "stroke saver" I've built,
note the logo position, and recognize that it has been spined.

RK,

My answer to him was "Yes but with the logo out of aliegnment he,
my customer, would know for certain that I did indeed spine the
shaft and did not just cut & glue his club together". The UST
Salesman just looked at me and said yes that is one way of looking
at it.

Ha! You're right. I've been spining and misaligning logos for several years (several hundred clubs) and not one player has complained about any misaligned logo location. At first, I thought everyone would complain about it and ask me if I just glued the shaft in without looking at it. Of course, I told them why the logos were misaligned when I gave them the club. Now, I think if I gave any of these players a shaft with the logo lined up on top, they'd ask me why I didn't align the shaft. So, now I worry more when I happen to find one that DOES line up. :-)
