Jeff, I was really surprised at the difference it made. The orlimar shafts are .369, so they fit perfectly. I used a stiff and trimmed it quite a bit to get to the CPM I was shooting for. I got the shaft for free, so if it didn't work it was no big deal. Considering the price of the shaft, and the fact that I bought the head for $10, I've got a very inexpensive club that my playing buddies have deemed "the magic stick."
