I can see it now...because the USGA has a patent on the new portable tester, they'll probably market it as a requirement to every pro shop in the country for testing your opponent's driver. There will be a testing shed beside the ball washer at the first tee and for $5 you can test your opponent's driver, have his clubs counted, check driver length and head volume, measure between the grips on his belly putter, check grooves on his irons, etc. Since nobody is joining the USGA anymore because they can't make any sense out of the present rules and have decided to play by their own rules every day, it will be a good supplemental source of income at tournament time. :-)
