This is probably why... http://www.usga.org/test_center/method_measurement.html Now, we'll have both a COR of .830 and CT of 250 to contend with.   I can see it now...because the USGA has a patent on the new portable tester, they'll probably market it as a requirement to every pro shop in the country for testing your opponent's driver.
