For the past few years, I've been using a Golfsmith "Rough Rider" 22deg
(strong 7w) as a utility club - which is pretty much GS's answer to the
original Adams Tight Lies. In general, it proves to be a very versatile
club, however, I've never really been happy with the way it "sets up" -
which in my case is with a somewhat closed face. Even though Golfsmith
claims this is a square faced club, it always sets up closed (by at
least a couple of degrees) for me. Given that I have a natural draw, I
find that I need to maniupulate this club more than I'd like to get a
square hit. Nasty hooks are the result if I'm not careful with this
thing.

So - I'm looking for recommendations for a replacement to this head. It
doesn't need to necessarily be in the model of the Rough Rider/Tight
Lies, but the main requirements are that it's a versatile 21-23deg head,
and truly sets up square. Anybody know if Dynacraft's Hypersteel heads
fit the bill?

FWIW, I use irons that have relatively minimal offset for sort of the
same reasons - they set up more squarely for me.

Thanks.
