Blue Away, Bartender's Friend, automotive rubbing compound, pumice mixed with H2O, 00000 steelwool with mineral oil and/or virtually any very fine grit abrasive applied lightly and judiciously. And . . . you never have to heat any head to the point where it is scorched. Never. Take it slow and apply a lot of pressure when pushing the head off.
