Hi Graham,

Here's the abstract of their paper:

This paper introduces a novel, shaft-mounted measurement system contained in a golf
club. The system is capable of measuring and storing shaft strains, accelerations, and
the shaft longitudinal rotary motion of the golf club during a golf swing. Preliminary
results using the device in conjunction with motion capture systems are analyzed and
discussed. Potential uses and applications of the shaft-mounted measurement system
range from refinement of computational models to optimally match golfers tospecific
equipment.

The authors are with Callaway Golf.

Plese contact me privately for more details.

Did anyone attend this congress or buy a copy of the papers? I'm after one
of the papers entitled "Measurement of the behaviour of a golf club during
a golf swing" by N Lee, P Cheveny & M Erikson
