Pelz made a putter that had 3 actual golf balls, or golf ball size and appearance items attached to the back. The depth of the putter head was longer than was the face. The putter was used by Rex Caldwell, among others, several years ago. USGA banned it. Putter face dimensions are listed in USGA equipment rules and specs for all to see.
