You are right, not about Verplank feeling ferrules (!), but that these
guys tend to start thinking that just because they play the game so
well, that whatever they think about a piece of equipment is right.  And
you know the old adage - the lower your handicap, the more you know!!!

You're right in that there is no human on the planet, not Tiger or
