I
purchased this software from Golfsmith a couple of years back. I find it
handy to get in the right range, as to where I want to be with the final
swingweight. It is fairly accurate with steel shafts but graphite throws
it off by a couple of swingweight points and is not consistent when you use a
different manufactures shafts. I believe the difference in the graphite
readings between shafts may be do to a different balance point. I found
that with most graphite, if the software calculates out a D0 swingweight, I add
4 grams more to the head and I will get a swingweight of D0 on my swingweight
scale when the club is complete. The software is a useful tool combined
with experience to get what you want. I also have the Chicago Golf
Swingweight Program that is based on Dave Tutleman's program, if you would like
