I use both the more expensive unit"The PC Driving Range" sold by Bengton Co. the owner is one of our shoptalk friends. I also have a Bell that I take to driving range with me, I have used it many times after I have fitted a Customer with the  shop Analyzer, I have found the Bell reading to be well within the range of what I would expect to read for that customer.  Now if you you want a unit that is better then 2-5 MPH then the Bell may not be the right choice, but remember most people don't swing within 2-3mph on every swing to begin with.

I am looking for swing speed measuring device.  I have noticed that there are some that range in price from $60 for a very basic unit to $400 for an advanced unit that connects to a computer.  I see that Bel sells a basic unit for around $100 but I seem to recall hearing that it isn't very good.

Any suggestions on a good basic unit and a good advanced unit?

Thanks,

Tom
