Goldwin Clubs Irons and Woods to re-grip.
I know these have Big Butt shafts. Does anyone re-grip these clubs? Are the materials available?
I have regripped these with Winn Grips. Take apart a Winn grip (wraps no longer available) save the collar at the mouth of the grip by unwraping present Winn wrap (from butt end to save metal collar). Save the butt cap. Rewrap, replug butt and slide collar up. If these had rubber grips they are no longer available. If this is the case follow above, fashion a butt cap from the Winn grip you disassembled, make a small slit in butt of shaft to accept start of wrap jam in cap and finish with vinyl electrical tape (don't stretch the tape too much or it will come off when summer heat gets to it).
This is a little time consuming (I get $10/club) but they will look beautiful!
You did not say what grips are on them now. Are the iron shafts steel? If so they are not "big butt". Graphite "big butt" is huge! No underlisting is necessary. Just wrap replacement on one strip of grip tape dry..no solvent!
