I played them at the end of last summer and the grips stayed quite tacky. I haven't played in a while though but expect it to last quite some time.
I've got the ribbed model, truly an excellent grip.

can anyone testify to the grip/treatment durability? -Jim

Those of you looking for an excellent leather grip, check out the new
grips from Clubmaker Online sponsor Gripmaster.
 http://www.thegripmasterusa.com/tgm/home1

The leather grips are treated with something they call "protack"
which gives them great playability in wet weather.
