Hah!

Yeah, my second ace. First was Easter Sunday, 1985. 5 iron, 185 yd. Hell of it is, if I played the same hole today I'd probably hit a 7 wood. I'm expending the same amount of energy, or more, with pitiful results from my woeful lurch. Ah well, at least the ace yesterday was on a 155 yd hole, over a pond to an elevated green. Sadly, it too was a 5 iron. Geez!!

Tom,

Way to go! Your second? Lightning does strike twice in the same place.

You just tied me at two...except I've been trying for 62 years. Strangely, I had both of mine the same year...1975, I think. The first was on the short par-3 second hole (8-iron) at Deane Hill CC (now a shopping center) in Knoxville on a cold day in February. The second was at Manufacturer's CC in Philadelphia with a 6-iron on a slightly uphill par-3 in late July...can't remember the hole. Was playing with my Dad when he made all three of his aces.
