Al,   What on earth are you doing seeing a Nephrologist? Hypertension? Hope it's not serious. I wouldn't wish that couple of years leading up to renal failure on anyone, nor the dialysis part. And the drugs to keep a transplant aren't so great, either. Now, the orthopedic doc is different...he has actually forced me to get off my butt and use my arthritic old muscles, or what's left of them. That's probably a good thing, don't you think?
