Cub and Alan:

The Series 5 Steel shafts have always been manufactured for me by RP except for a short time in May – Aug of 2003 when RP got so far behind in making their “big boys” orders that I had to rely on TT to do them for us.  But since summer of 2003, they have only been made by RP for me.

"I haven't tried Wishon's steel shafts, but I think RP makes them".   Correct.  They were TT until recently.

So are Harrisons.  I haven't tried Wishon's steel shafts, but I think RP makes them.

Sk Fiber and Mercury are two good graphite shaft options.  For steel shafts,

if any manufacturers are really better than others in this regard.

Royal Precision is definitely straighter than True Temper for the most part.
