I'm curious if any mail systems have the ability to send to "everyone on 
a distribution list" EXCEPT for a particular person/address?

I'll give you a real-world, not at all critical, example.  You have a 
group of friends who exchange jokes.  You get a joke from "Larry" who is 
on your "JokesList".  You want to send Larry's joke to everyone EXCEPT 
Larry.

Seems like a reasonable thing to do.
