I have read a lot about the so called Heavy Putter and had an
opportunity to see, hold, and putt with one. The price tag is a bit out
of line but I guess there will be some to purchase it. Several weeks
back there was a good exchange of ideas on this putter and the subject
of adding weight, one that I got caught up in.
I added between 4 and 6 ounces to two of my putters, a two ball and a
blade. Both have reduced my average putts per round by eight strokes.
With that in mind, why would I go out and spend two hundred dollars plus
for something I can make or have made for less than sixty bucks?
One day folks are going to catch and stop this over pricing of a great
sport. OK, I am going back to reading and learning. You guys have been
a great help as I learn the art of club making.

Where is it okay to be teed off, tote a six-iron, shoot birdies, and if
you're under par it's a great day?
