Brian   A while ago, and I'm not sure how long the Raven stepless shafts were made by Nippon and were the most consistent shafts I have ever used. They had no spine and the entire set were within 1 CPM on my freq meter. The new ones are made in China and are nowhere near the quality of the old ones, they are just average.   John
