Hi Jen,
For most of us, you're getting expected results as far as distance
goes. Just making a driver longer doesn't generally get you more
distance. Unless you swing harder, the same effort as with the shorter
driver produces a lower club rotation rate (because the moment of inertia
goes up, much faster with length increases than the swingweight) and you
get the same, or often slower, club head speed. Whether you hit the ball
more consistently with the longer driver depends upon your swing mechanics
and what the higher SW/MOI does for you, but for most people's consistency
gets worse.

Hi Ed, all,
Thanks for the link. I did check it out along with a search for anything
weight arm related to get some information.
The problem turned out to be the shaft as I suspected. I am new to
FLO'ing and apparently I didn't do a very good job of it the first
time! I pulled it intending to re-FLO it and re-use it but ended up
buying a different shaft anyway. (Apache Blue Crush). Now it rocks! I
built it to 45", an inch longer than my usual drivers. Thought I would
try it. (TFlan was right - standing further from it does make it seem
smaller LOL).
With the 40g weight arm though the driver swingweight comes to D9!
LOL... I guess I should have seen that coming if I did any simple math at
all. Two interesting observations so far. One -- I hit this driver great
with this combination, high swingweight and all. Total weight is 327g and
I don't feel that it is as heavy as the SW scale would make it seem to
be. I have far fewer bad mis-hits (slices). Two -- I am not hitting this
much or any further than my previous drivers. The day I hit it best was
extremely windy so it was impossible to say as my best drives into the
wind were barely 210. I am still checking distances compared to previous
drivers as I play more with it. Most drives appear to be the same as
before. (230-250). I expected with the additional length I would get more
than 10 extra yards out of it but so far I don't appear to be.

Jen,
I believe you were having some problems with your 715. The following is
a good explanation of some of the effects of the moving its weight arm:
