Some useful info for reshafting old Acushnet over-the-hosel putters which require a flared shaft:
A true temper flared putter shaft will fit, but it is necessary to make a "washer" from a very thin strip of masking tape at the base of the hosel. Otherwise, the epoxy leaks out because it is not a "perfect" fit.
Some models use a .370 parallel tip shaft that fits over the hosel. I did not have to make a "washer" when reshafting this type.
