ShopTalk: Difference between Bubble and Bubble 2 shafts?

My league buddy (the one who slammed the car door on his club 3 times!) is 
now wondering aloud about using a Bubble 2 shaft instead of an original 
Bubble.  I have had no personal experience with either one and can't give 
him much guidance.

Can anyone here provide insight as to how these two shafts might differ in 
playing characteristics?  We're looking at R-80 for both.
