Sounds like your goal is an MOI match rather than a swingweight match.

shafts freqs 5'' butt clamp 205 gm wt

                   #4 309 cpm
                  #5 308
                  #6 307
                  #7 304
                  #8 303
                  #9 298

First of all, I'd reassign them in the reverse order. Make the most flexible shaft go in the longest iron, not the shortest.

Do you own a frequency meter?
If so, trim to give the slope that you want.

If not, do you own some other flex-measuring device, like an NF4 or FlexMaster?
If so, use it as you normally would.

If not...
(1) Do the assignment as I said above: most flexible shaft in the longest iron and so forth. (2) Use the manufacturer's tip trim recommendation (usually 1/2" per club). That should give a reasonable slope, even if not perfect.

The assignment process (#1) assures a much more uniform result for a cut-and-glue trim job (#2) that if you do cut-and-glue on randomly assigned shafts.

Cheers!
