Second thoughts. Come to think about it, forget the
taper tip - a parallel tip works just fine. You can
slit the tip with a Dremel-type tool the same way
Callaway does, rough it up, epoxy, and pound a plug
into it after grinding it flush. The hosels are .370"
except at the very bottom, where they're a little
smaller, hence the slits/plug. 
 
Also. TT makes a couple of stepped light steel shafts
that work as well. The TX90's are "microtapers" as
found in the Ping BeCu heads.
