If you could find a way to have the weight slide across the entire length of
the board (you would need another clamp)
you could turn this thing into a profiler.

Let me repeat my earlier message to Arnie in reference to the info he
sent on the Flexboard. Since I could not find anyone with the charts
used on the Golfsmith Shaft Deflection Analyzer and visiting with the
parts department in the main store in Austin, I posted my need on
ShopTalk and Arnie came through like a champ. He sent me the info
necessary to go ahead and get the Analyzer operational.
Now I have to admit that not having the Board is not a really big issue
as I have my Club Scout III to do the job for me. It is just a visual
thing that Arnie and I visited about sometime back. I believe the unit
still has value. Golfsmith however doesn't agree, but then there are a
number of things where I find a lack of interest in customer service for
the clubmaker at that place. Many of the shop supplies are available
only through mail order now. So much for local shopping. Oh well, I
guess that is life in the business world.
