TMan-
I found an excellent article in Time "How Twitter Will Change The Way
We Live". Read it here
http://www.time.com/time/printout/0,8816,1902604,00.html
It opened my eyes to how Twitter has evolved and how users have
redesigned Twitter to fit their needs. For instance, now you can
group topics or events and follow in real time at your Twitter page.
You can reply to users using the @ symbol (or click on reply on your
page). You can add links to other stories/web sites and there is a
way to add pictures.
I'm just figuring it out (didn't realize you could reply to posts, add pics).
I'll add a grouped topic #johndaly to my Twitter page
http://twitter.com/golfcast . To discuss his groovy pants, swing, new
putter, driver, golf shaft, etc., simply include #johndaly in your
note and they'll be grouped together. Search #johndaly from your
twitter page and all the John Daly conversations will be listed. Of
course you'll have to set up a twitter account to do this.
