Tom, Yes it was you I was thinking of. I thought, perhaps incorrectly, that you said it was a very painful recovery and you had second thoughts about doing it.

The surgery today is the same as it was when Dupytren identified the malady except for more modern methodology. Mine was done by a plastic surgeon but nearly any general surgeon does the work as well.
