Good morning Tom.

That's fixed it.

I have tested it with:

        CONFIG_PATH=/etc/shorewall:/usr/share/shorewall

        CONFIG_PATH=

and with CONFIG_PATH commented out.

I have tested it specifying a directory on the 'shorewall check' command.

I have also tested it as root and a non root user.
