Improvement idea for shorewall.conf and .annotated: shorewall-4.4.12 depreacated following options: LOGRATE= LOGBURST=
I think all deprecated options should be moved to LEGACY section at the bottom of the shorewall.conf or completely removed from default config. There is no idea in carrying them in default config in fact. They are deprecated and should not be used - if they are still documented in shorewall.conf as valid options people will use them instead of using new LOGLIMIT= - and I'm sure these aren't only legacy options there... Deprecated and legacy options shouldn't be in default config files at all imho. They can be in man page but not in default config. I had an idea that deprecation means option is deprecated, legacy and should not be used any more...
