Hi all,

Run into some troubles setting up Shorewall on Voyager linux --
specifically with the /var/lib/shorewall trying to be written to the ro
portion of Voyagers filesystem.

The mailinglist and guides say to create /etc/shorewall/vardir to point
the directory somewhere else, but this doesn't seem to work.

Instead I simply edited /sbin/shorewall and replaced VARDIR with a
workable location (in Voyager this is /rw/var/lib/shorewall) after
copying the contents of (/ro/var/lib/shorewall) there, and everything
worked as expected.

Just a heads up that either 1) this feature may need testing or 2) more
comprehensive instructions on its use need to be developed in case
people like me can't figure it out in future. :D

Thanks
