Lito -- this is *NOT PLUG AND PLAY*. You need to understand the software
before you try to use it.

The problem is probably that there is a file named
/var/lib/shorewall/xxx.status that contains '1'. Delete the file and
re-read all of the documentation carefully. It takes several hours to
understand these products and get them configured successfully.
