Hi, We're using proxyarped hosts as described here http://www.shorewall.org/ProxyARP.htm to run firewalls without the hassle of doing NAT. It works so well that I was wondering how the same could be achieved on other operating systems like the different BSD Unices.
Does anybody know if the same method can also be used on something like FreeBSD or is there something that was only implemented in Linux so far? Thanks for any answer!
