Shorewall 5.2.5 RC 1 is now available for testing. Changes since Beta 2:
1) The documentation of the use of BLACKLIST with fail2ban has been expanded (https://shorewall.org/blacklisting_support.htm#fail2ban). 2) When EXPAND_POLICIES=No in shorewall[6].conf, policies in complex rulesets are enforced in chains such as 'net-all' and 'all-all'. Previously, these chains included redundant state-oriented rules. In addition to being redundant. these rules could actually break complex IPv6 configurations. The extra rules are now omitted. 3) The non-existent '-f' option has been removed from the description of the 'stop' command in shorewall(8). 4) Incorrect links in shorewall(8) have been corrected. 5) Perl module versions have been updated.
